You know more than a lot of contractors! Great video. I am using the same Sherwin Williams products with the exception of the primer. I am using Bin, from Zinsser. It’s an alcohol-based and shellac based primer that dries super quick. I put two coats of primer and to finish coats and sanding in between. Great job! You get 2 enthusiastic thumbs up for this video.

I am 3 years late to the party but I would have turned the back room into another bedroom for the kids. I think the kids comfort takes priority over entertaining guest. Three kids to one room is kind of tight.

Nice overview - but there is no mention of making a pitch or incline on the patio in order to direct water away from the house. Why is that? All the trades people I have spoken to have said that a slight downward pitch away from the house is among their cardinal rules for any patio project.
